For Christmas I got a really rockin, unexpected gift! Santa brought me a Fishman pickup for my acoustic guitar and Peavey Ampkit Link that allows me to connect my guitar to my iPhone which then allows me to connect to my AppleTV via airplay and rock out over my home surround sound system! Absolutely the coolest thing EVER!

The Fishman pickup was easy to install however when I opened the package there were no screws! I was a bit disappointed because this thing will not stay put without the screws. Good news, replacement screws are on the way! 🙂 No questions asked and no extra charge! Thanks Fishman! Hope they arrive soon! I couldn’t wait so I had to find screws that fit to rig it up!

The Peavey Ampkit Link is awesome too! It comes with an app for the iPhone that you download from the iTunes store. I had to purchase more in-app features to achieve an acoustic sound but all in all I love it! Maybe one day I will record something and post it. The Ampkit with the app will let you use your iPhone to record also! The Ampkit is a great device for guitar enthusiasts.
