Its been a long while since I’ve posted but Life happens for me just like it does anyone else. Thankfully I took a moment today to get out and see all the wonderful things happening outside. I was thrilled to feel the hot sun, see the familiar greenish colors of summer and watch as things were hoping, buzzing, and blooming all around. Here’s a glimpse of my world today.

I have waited over a month to share this picture with you on Valentines Day. Finding symbols of love in everyday life are what I consider to be special moments. I was out in the woods walking along when I notice, among the brown/grey colors of winter, this beautiful heart-shaped leaf so vivid, bright and beautiful. I noticed the thorny vine from which this symbol of love was growing and thought of how this simple image was representative of life and love. In life we are blessed with the great beauty of love however for us to appreciate it, we sometimes must endure the hurtful pain of the thorns on the side.
Knowing love is a special gift. It’s hard to imagine life without it. Whether it be in your work, your family, your friends, your pet, your lover, or what ever passion you have in life, may you have love, known love, or give love today and every day.
